(4/17/10) complied Wed bible study
Take lesson from Martha (owner of house) schedule overload. Can get things done, but not necessarily accurate. Actions extend ‘alone time’? so That to convert is also for self/understand God. God can control log therefore keep focus on care/pivot point. Also b/c God for glory, not work.
Bread: prayer = talk/w God, better know/better obey, better know exist, for reminder that God exists, to put back on track. Fisherman company story.
No Worries: Phil 4:6-7 God is here so no worry. Lk 12:13-14 no worry norm will all end you have little power. No anxious, call to God pray and thank he gives peace.

(4/11/10) heaven on earth
Kingdom of God is like heaven down on earth. No ‘heaven’, will be on earth.

(4/7/10)  check pulse Wednesday
euthanasia speech
must have desires aligned. Worldliness is simply having a higher love.
World: err idea sys, anti-god/word/JC, temp, empire syst, ppl id.
World temporal will pass away.
Cross where we find: forgiveness, righteousness, power over sin, sanctification.

(3/31/10) submission and authority.
Authority hierarchy: God>JC>man>woman. Note God >! JC power.
Men are automatically/involuntarily heads of family. Sacrificial. Understanding.
Authorities: pastor/father, parents, gov politics, masters in general
Wives: submission and support. Not follow into sin. Aware of husbands imperfections. Submission is beautiful.
LEAD = determine goal
Find marching orders.
Comm black to init sac for Mom – hmmm. Must think on their (mom) perspective

(3/27/10) mark 8:35-38, upside-down therefore
we reject ransom>no salvation>whole world can’t save> sac all and saved>sac

(3/24/10) final warnings from JC
enter by narrow gate is command. Differences of gates: restriction, easy, popularity, life/destruction.
Do: long-term, hard, persevere, non-conform, be encouraged.
False prophets: find by fuit.
Those who won’t enter: speak right words, use passion, preach, exorcism/miracle.

(1/30/10) establishing jubilee church. Isaiah 61:1-4
Spirit bestow
            Option1 = depression
            Option2 = sin
New testament and 2nd coming.
            Salvation
            Church

(1/23/10) abortion
US 3k/day, global 130k/day
10-14wk abort traits
Eugenics: selective breeding humans
Mental disable fix at resurrection
Haiti US give (1.6m/hr)10days
Jn 8:58 ‘I AM’

(1/2/10) how to pray
gospel/cross in Calvinism: react to what God did. All him (see, for you is auto).
Self righteousness in sticking to spontaneity in prayer (saying that discipline leads to legalism and self-help)
1: trust orders/info to pray b/c you trust good for you. (military: avoid thinking that you are winning battles, but if you say general is smarter than you etc, it should work)
2: hunger for God, pray to get god
3: already have what we need. Not pray to get.
Pray = stand in line for food

(12/26/09) beth new guy Jonah 4:1-11
Jonah mad b/c god is gracious to scum (and scum don’t deserve it), must remember we’re all forgiven too.
Gods grace has ‘atrocious mathematics’
God did not save Nineveh b/c they repented, but because he had pity.
Self: our relative imperfections are nil compared to Gods holiness.

(12/19/09) beth sermon Jn 6:end
JC needed flesh to die. How else can he suffer?
JC fx 1 = demo truth (blood?), 2 = create truth by die (body?)
Autonomous drive is only growling stomach if no God
Perhaps unsaved are chemical animals? Naw…they have souls.
Look over Himalayas precipice w/iron rails, like us w/God and calvin.

(12/12/09) Sermon Jn 6: 52-70
JC pick Judas, god control Judas for his purposes.
1          Offer: + body Designed machine unity w/maker=purpose. V.40 = v.54 believe = eat.
2          Resistance: JC words offensive b/c Jew not drink . Resistance builds.
3          Triumph: God sovereignty Calvinism. 5k>11, God still picks whom.
We eat and tear food, like we eat and put sin on JC.

(12/3/09) bible study Js/Ns 25?
Hope = trust. Can take Sabbath b/c good works. Sin = junk food before dinner. Sucker thanksgiving analogy.

(11/28/09) Calvin sermon plus self
I realized my previous misconceptions about church. Glory ≠ shiny, grace ≠ nice, mercy ≠ (brush away make indebted) shrug. Glory = power, dominion, slow blazing walk, grace = gift b/c care, provision, mercy = active penetration remove guilt.
Calvinism: Jn 6:44. Use 37 (repeat clearer), 64-5 (quote self plus explain), 8:47 (fold>believe), 10:26-7 (black people). Reason for 6:44. Human perceptions fallible (that’s what you’re using right now). Respond: 1 humble, 2 thankful 3 assurance 4 evangelism. 2 Tim 2:24-26 5 glory to god.
Free will:          1 god show > you see               election
2 you see > you like                  salvation
3 you like > you come              free will/sanctification

(11/21/09) sermon Jn 6: 30-41
Get God like Xbox valuable thing
JC is our bread. We are saved via the emotion of liking him better than all else.
1 = (father) father give people to son, 2 = (we) therefore we come, 3a = (son) Jesus holds us tight, 3b = (son) JC raise us at then end, keep our entire body, 4/5 = (foundation) all of this from Gods will.

(11/14/09) sermon
labor for eternal bread = believe a labor to believe, yes! A constant fight, a mental power! 1 = seal on JC, JC is fully qualified to save souls. 2 = labor for the food that does not perish mind is focus 3 = do not labor for the food that perishes it all fades away, do not be distracted. Still work, but iva eternal food.

(10/25/09) native Americans plus united
snap respond ‘sorry for swearing’ = ‘sorry to God’.
We are united with believers far more than with anyone else, due to common most important precepts, plus we have same goal (mink initiative)
99% of bible is spot on consistent, the 1% is not important theologically. There are biblical passages where Paul claims that his writings are equivalent with scripture, authenticating the new testament as completely engineered for us.
David brainerd considered a very good missionary, despite only serving three years, but he did so with depression and tuberculosis for most of it.
For native Americans, tribe is everything. One is different from another like English and Chinese. ½ (4.6m pop) under 25. They live mostly in cities.

(10/24/09) sermon acts 11:19-26 Antioch
8 points: someone has to cross barriers, don’t need persecution, god is with you, willing to serve pre-started work, pre-rec is great grace, not great work/ability, recruit others, teach converts, open to life change

(10/4/09) piper sermon
All of the Old Testament is a witness for JC b/c know God = know JC
            1 = know god? 2 = honor god? 3 = love god?
Church body/servant of JC, unified with him and get his righteousness.

(9/9/09) sermon
Preaching is not enough b/c: disappear into crowd, passive listening, evade redemption, no application, questions, follow through, prayer
Problems with person:   not see, not hear, and no believe
                                          You don’t want to come
You don’t love god (no treasure infinite value)
You reject me (want coming king)
Glory from each other, not god
Not believe Moses, not me either
Why? 2nd: human desire, 1st glory of man, not god.
The humble king convicts us
Faith glory to god, faith relies on god not man
Interpretations:
Mans goal: get glory. Gods glory is given, and given by a humble JC who died like a criminal, so man doesn’t like it, and prefers lesser, fallible glory from man.

(9/6/09) sermon Jn 5:1-24
Healing – about sin, non-physical
Father son – Jesus in front of God litmus paper determine saved unsaved (military analogy last chance) No pluralism, personal evangelism.

(8/23/09) grace sermon
The clearer you know the goal of life, the faster you can answer and respond to questions and situations. Bigger fish = god.
Nehemiah:
1 = expect opposition   Offensive = attack>defense good is sac for
2 = assess opposition    mutiny = confront, self confess if possible, sac for bigger
3 = answer opposition ambush = tell them it’s a lie
A = know who you’re serving,
B = What are you doing?

(8/16/09) piper sermon
Son of official is healed long distance. Jn 4:43-54
JC goes home because they will reject him. Nomenclature: paradigm = syllogism or worldview. The people are wonder-seekers, not honoring or believing. Main point of text = JC glory of miracle and prev sentence honor principle. Take home: A to avoid: 1 pride of attachment to great person 2 sense of entitlement to special treatment if know big person 3 over familiarity, he’s ordinary. B To do: ask for miracles.

(5/30/09) Beth Sermon
Test of doctrinal correctness is ‘is it to glory of Jesus?’.
JC = from God, contrasted with everyone else, men fall (haha) into two categories: Adam or JC+Adam
JC = full of God, HS is manifestation of Gods love to JC, the outpouring of his total self.
JC = ruling as God, speaking as God. When he talks, God is talking.
There are two options: say God is true, or say he isn’t.
Mortification of Sin by John Owen.

(7/19/09) sermon
Self: salvation like door. From sin = bread/justice, from heaven = /sanctify.
Self: why can’t we have laments in church?
1: Sin = military rebellion and action, not bestial past which we shake off.
2: JC A: justice law/advocate, B: cleanse,demoGlove shine on us>>sanctify.
3: JC remove sin at cross. sins/tries to defame God.

(6/8/09) Sermon beth
Message = how to bless others w/gospel. Solomon was an example by lifting up God to the people. God is worth everything else. Solomon was another Christ as a risen king after his father David and by making a house for God, just like Christ makes the Church to worship God.
‘the king’ rhymes with ‘thinking’ for a good reason.

(5/17/09) sermon at grace church Roseville
“Love one another” I interpret as a mutually supportive glob of operational power. As the church, it’s operation is gospelization. Note the effect of super__? goals (ref Mink lake initiatives + emo) that bring church together is very efficient.
We are the body, the instrument, the will of JC. We are his hands working in the world. We represent JC on earth. We are his soldiers. The majority of his visible work is done through us. Wow.
Jesus is like a conquering king. He goes out, conquers, and that allows him to come home and give the spoils to his people (a little). In the same way, he went out, defeated , and now has the authority to give life to all who choose to be his comrades. (possibly I should incorporate this into military analogy)
We can be groups of people, not just individuals. Parts to a machine, an organization, an army.
Avoid church nationalism/facism.

(5/14/09) sermon of 5/3/09
No one deserves to be born again. Read book: “The Difficult Doctrine of the Love of God.” By Don Carson <90pgs. God defines what is right and wrong. Believe = trust that G is who he says he is and that he will do all he promises. JC quenches all thirsts because he is the greatest satisfier and will make all others pale in comparison. 2 needs of man: 1 = life, alive to Christ and sanctification, 2 = payment of sin.

(1/21/09) Wednesday thoughts:
Should Christianity require pro da to survive its members? Take note of suppressing world environment (Rom 1:12), mutual pro da, and total neglect of theories. “God will give you the desires of your heart” if you “delight yourself in the Lord”.
Take note of tempo in ‘your personal song’ (when listen to ‘Deep, deep Love’) and note tempo in ‘greensleeves’ etc.

(5/17/09) sermon grace church
Redemption plan synopsis. JC used HS not own power. Church = body of JC = acting tool We are the representatives of JC on earth. Church = league basketball, not pickup b-ball. Eph 4:13-16 faith unity know God, maturity not blown away. We are selected, rescued, adopted, called, etc. Banana scale ‘worthy’. “Love on another” = army system helps itself >> unit, gentle mink “super goal unity” to bring together = very efficient. 3 groups 2kids w/5 pennies ea. Eph 4:11 fill whole universe – about end of ages. JC conquered , so he can give life to those associated with him. Leaders for equip people, hmm… Avoid church nationalism/ m. Depravity II move object. Goal = JC, nothing else meaning anything. Theory = 2 formsofsalvation2needs2sacraments justification salvation body + election sanctification . Focus = JC period.

Metaphysics, Free Will:

(3/27/10) ravings
Were I to set the mountains aflame or shape the galaxies like clay in my hands, it would all come to nothing, for the things of this world are like chaff blowing through my hand. God is the solution to free will. For with no pre-set goal, we must search and find nothing worthy of our labors. There has long been a place 1in in front of my spinal column and 2in above the bottom of my rib cage where God lifts me up and I am connected and safe and delighted. God is like a solid, immovable thread of existence for my soul. Above all, I would like a woman who I still before the Lord, confident, satisfied, calm, at peace.

(3/13/10) about book (still aftermath of Avatar)
Joshua: Finally I resolved myself: there is no God. I look out upon the green mountains draped with mist and said to myself: there is not God. The world below is filled with billions of hmans that have been reduced to animals. Iwould learn in a few minutes that even the immortal glass city of hape had shattered by a black horde depraved beyond imagination.
You see, in this book, there isn’t a good side or a bad side. They’re both bad. One, both, or all three can be massacred without slighting my conscious. The great wealth and people of a normal epic is, in this one, a cube of metal and glass filled with people who have only escaped depravity by a dizzying acceleration of progress, games, and other distractions. Note: And Joshua is not divinely empowered in any way to save his people.
Welcome to the real world.
But this book isn’t over yet. You see, in the real world, the world you’re sitting in riht now, reading this book, an epic is really going on. And this epic, believe it or not, is like most epics. It has a magnificent wealth of nature filled with complex, intelligent people, who are in jeopardy. The only difference is that we haven’t come to the final battle yet, in fact most of the indigenous populations still s the savior that has come and have corrupted the planet they live on (not tree-hugger attitude). That’s why it doesn’t feel like an epic. Now is those painful scenes where emotional turmoil rules, and the people are divided between followers of the main character (the savior) and the people as a whole. But that last battle will come. Armageddon will come. And blessed is he who fights next to the king of kings on that day! Praise be to the Lord God of the heavenly hosts! Hallelujah!
Therefore, this book has hope too. In one big flash, the savior comes with power, in this book the truth of God, and the people turn as one. Immediately flows the battle. And like in most epics, the people won’t start off and just win. N fact they almost lose. Then at the last moment, salvation will ride in, and the greater power behind it all will win victory for his people. Maranatha!
The third age is here, may the salvation I promised come soon, and issue in the 4th age, the final one (unless we have 1k hears and then go to heave, but whatever).

(3/12/10) triggered by Avatar
Driving home from Avatar, my thought processes have ran roughly thus:
We say God gives all these emotions, so the experience of him is better.
I have this little voice inside me every now and then that tells me to do things. I dearly hope it’s the Holy Spirit. It’s pretty ‘audible’ and doesn’t seem to simply regurgitate my own feelings.
What are humans fundamentally? Emotional or data? What is the big system of the metaphysical universe? Why should humans be weak like in ‘bigger fish’?
Exciting movies have big things at stake, nations, armies, people, and central things like the eywa tree, etc. The main character is like a Christ figure. Are we living in an epic in the real world? No, most people don’t want to join the fight.
The voice told me to put on KTIS and the song was about jumping into the deep. Should I listen to the little voice, sack all and jump?
Most exciting movies have a struggle, and often a Christ figure. Are humans unconsciously yearning for the same thing? Are we hardwired to desire an end-of-time battle like Armageddon?
I hope that the little voice is true, that the Christian walk is emotional and exciting like movies, and the world ends in one huge motion picture epic. I wish that heaven were an endless epilogue or even more story, as the things at stake become larger and larger, more fantastic animals and biological systems than Avatar. But God is so simple! God, help me see you as complicated and full of beauty! Ah! It is your people, and the work that you have made that is beautiful! Help me see it!
Does the sum of data still amount to emotion? I hope so.
How do I dive deep?
How might other religions be feasible? Do they have Christ figures? ….not really. Their gods do not love them. They cannot commune with their gods. Their gods treat them like objects. Ours is a living, loving God, praise the lord! PRAISE THE LORD!
Shall I dive deep? How?
I imagine myself as a chosen one, one who experiences emotion like no one else, a prophet to the world. An engineer? I begins to seem compatible after I rejoiced in Gods creation which makes the epic huger.
First shall I dive deep into Gods emotion? How?
Oh yes, and I had this little thought about ‘the plague of the first derivative’ where we humans can only feel change, not absolute measure. This brings about relativity, and gods infinity, and stuff like that. This idea came because I thought of the world as epic, and we’re missing it. And we miss it by not perceiving the value and complexity of the world around us. Ah! More connection to the engineer.
So, God wrote an epic, and we’re in it. Wonderful!
I wonder how I can use this in my book? Make it an epic with God writing? Hmmm….
Well, I think my emotion has largely died down for now, TTFN.
Back again. BTW somewhere along this though line I did a question all string. What is the fundamental question? What to do or what is? How do I know there is a fundamental question? How do I know there is an answer or a question? How do I know? How do I know I exist? Etc.
I think the fundamental question is: what is?
But then again. What is ‘is’? Prediction of perceptions?
Back again.
Actually, the question should be ‘what to do?’ or goal of pleasure which leads us to ‘what was I designed for?’ probably. I suppose possibly not. But that brings up another subject of how desires are created. It’s an argument for the spiritual world. Well, our very consciousness is an argument for another world. Anyway.
‘What was I designed for?” leads us to “Who designed me?” and a chain of creations along with scientific investigations into myself, etc. Which will lead us to God.
I should save this on my flash drive and take it to Karens house. Or I’ll just bring paper.
So, we have just suggested that ‘what to do’ leads us to ‘what is’ anyway. So I told the truth, lied, then told the truth. Or whatever. A good question to ask is ‘what is?’.
Aha! The world must be created (due to cause effect time infinity arguments) so something must exist outside of time – unchangeable. And That is the ultimate truth which we must find out. Aha! No-time also freezes epilogues (which would be terrible if time slowed down to normal pace).
So, how do we apply this to space and material?
God isn’t necessarily infinite spatially or materially…he’s outside of those dimensions….
Wonderful. These movies make for long, very productive writing. I should go see more epic movies.
Why should I ask questions (‘what is?’). Why not? J.
That God created the universe implies a reason for making it. (A reason that always existed outside of time?) Which might imply that God loves us anyway. Hmm… But love is best for us, and not only do I not feel very loved (but who am I to determine what’s best for me) but wouldn’t God have created the universe for himself. Aha! But what’s best for us is to fulfill why we were created, yes?
Oooooh. Okay. God the father is eywa, JC is the main character. Main char represents and fights for eywa…Holy spirit is…emo? Communication. Environment? What we see?
Just commented to father that I should watch more movies. Perhaps a healthy connection to pleasure is a good thing? Hm? But then why don’t other people have huge thoughts like this? Maybe they do and don’t record them.
Perhaps I’m getting off track, but more thoughts: dang, I lost it.
It is annoying reading back over what I have written. I cannot re-experience the emotions of thinking those things. Drat the first derivative!
Well, I tried again and it sort of works.
How might we blame Christ in the same way that they blamed the main character for the destruction?
My mind has slowed down from its emotional high. Perhaps I should stop writing? Who knows. I have much time.
(3/13/10) more analogy
Character rides in on the wings of defeated as his authority to lead the people. Animals with brainstems created for humans.

(9/4/08) thoughts on emotional levels
1 Animals exist on the physical level and develop on the mental. Day to day they concern themselves with food sloop, etc and learn and memorize over time. Special animals sometime however seem to exhibit emotion.
2 Humans normally exist on the mental level. We think about doing and then we do. Sometimes we act without thinking, which is bad. We develop on the emotional level. All that we experience: 1 Emotions are the way we combine massive quantities of physical and mental data into a grand theory. 2 Some emotions, like the one we experience day to day, create change. We would not feel an emotion unless our was violated. 3 Emotions sometimes drive people to do things that violate common logic but benefit society as a whole. 4 Emotions can also express massive physical (non-mental) changes that alter system of reaction behavior.
3 Footnote: This fact, that emotion denotes change, makes an utopia very, very boring. Sometimes I wonder if a non-utopia might be better, why God doesn’t let us have heaven on earth. But here is the solution: on earth and unavoidably in heaven we will constantly learn more of God, alter our s, and be happier. [9/8/09, god big = big data = emo, bigger every day = dθ = spiritual.] Even in that state I wonder though, there is an odd attraction one has for grief, as if it were necessary. It is necessary on earth, as at some point one must part form others, * but it shall not be so in heaven. Is continuous joy without grief to be desired? Or shall we grieve for the lost?
4 Special humans (saved humans) sometimes exhibit a spiritual dimension. Or one could say the operate on emotions and develop spiritually.** The question is what benefit does the spiritual give us? Peace with God should give control of emotions (which are subject to grand physical/mental circumstances) to prevent all hurtful scenarios (are any emotions to never be had?) It seems that spirituality should be perhaps better than that but…
5 Of all the emotions that idea, pictures and music can give, why do I not see a ‘fulfilled’ or ‘perfect’ emotion? It does not seem at first to be that pure joy, as in laughing around a table with friends (for it is different than ecstatic, full, hearty, never ending joy I imagine). Will perhaps the joy in heaven be a different emotion than ever experienced before? I feel like a prophet.
6 When I began writing this, I d not having that emotion, the bitter sweet, but now I don’t any more and I lost the bittersweet. My own emotions are so elusive. Goodbye for now.
7 Back again. Note that in day-to-day time emotions are of little consequence. (we operate mentally) What a boring life we lead, why not, at every moment of life, be driven to evangelize the world? (9/8/09 emotional operation, spiritual change, saved person!) Perhaps the rich are constantly in misery for it, and the poor also but probably not. Drat the adaptability of humans. (so no change mental is no emotion)
* Luckily on earth the spiritual dimension only has you and God, who is omnipresent so you never have to leave him. ** Note: for all properties in 2, check for non-spiritual quality which enables unbelievers to experience/operate these four properties of emotion.

Ideas:

(4/10/10) man +god
JC = fusion of man + God, like us w/God, ha! Another leader example.

(2/22/10) comrades
Currently I refer to most people as comrades because all assets are sacked for common goal: glorify god and convert/promote knowledge. (2/22/10) this is because people compartmentalize religion/god into the ‘me’ container, rather than put ‘me’ in the ‘god’ container.

(2/10/10) bible acronym
Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

(2/6/10) God entity
God is more than an entity (because we are) because he is infinite. I’m getting an animistic picture. Now his love contradicts his power. Yes! Jesus: God saves. Christ: Anointed one. JC not man>> 1 no sympathetic high priest, doesn’t know our problems 2 no sacrifice 3 no fulfill prophecies 4 no first raised from

(2/2/10) ethnical ethical
A great recent logical fallacy has been equating ‘equal’ ethnical backgrounds with ‘equal’ ethical backgrounds. The truth is, both have real, measurable parameters to judge them by.

(1/18/10) atheists defense
Talking with Alex Ronchak and Connor Theisen during great lakes 17th. Seems the common defense is ural relativism (or Connor even said that Jesus left the possibility of other routes open.). It started from my query into what Alex considered to be a fulfilling life. She began with a mansion and cars, then family, but still denied that those would satisfy, and changed the subject to my interrogation.

(1/5/10) god glory fx make sin much worse
Gods glory is not a function of glory velocity (# of people glorying him etc) but a single sin detracts it permanently, needing solution b/c god glory must be maintained at infinite/original value.

(1/3/10) three dimensions
first of all, we like to think of the spiritual world as latent within our space-time. Secondly, there might be three dimensions. One physical, the raw electrons, one psychological/metaphysical/perceptual with our vision of the world/interpretation of raw elections, the third is the totally nonphysical spiritual realm of infinity/non mathematical things (like God).

(12/13/09) sin idea
There does not have to be a God ‘counterforce’ to human pleasure, which prevents us from sinning. Human pleasure is of no consequence. Nothing is of any value except God.

(12/2/09) summary of rational theory and data/emo.
Instigated by Kant, we hold that humans along (among all other things) have the ability to reason, to choose a goal or project, and to prioritize, based on things about the world that we learn. In the beginning, we didn’t know for certain (or we denied) the data that God would punish us for disobeying. Now we know. Our purpose is to realize that God is the most important, and to glorify him.
This also ties in with data/emo theory. Emotion could be caused by affirming or undermining our current logic/schema (which would explain random socialization). Movies and music are designed to look like the most (or a very) important thing in the world, which makes you happy that you have found your goal (or have come close). The weakness of this generalization is that it falters when it comes to love and sadness.

(11/21/09) augment to “Test good evil”
Good/evil are not concrete objects, just adjectives that say whether an action or object gives glory to God or not. One might alternatively define good as the presence of God, and evil as his absence. (from email from Paul about Albert Einstein in class.)
As an auxiliary observation to the “test” theory, the human tendency towards socialization springs from a need to see others acting your way (or close to your way), to increase the probability that it is correct. Humans are also cognitive machines other than yourself to throw ideas at to reinforce their soundness. It is the comfort of another rational being.
A part of this idea that has developed recently after reading Immanuel Kant in philosophy class, that humans are ‘test field’ operators as rational beings, separate from all others by a tool to choose a task and then perform it, without instincts and a set pattern of behavior outside of animalistic survival.

(11/15/09) god is stuff
We want stuff. But in the wanting of it, we say that it is valuable, we seek to acquire value, implying that we don’t have enough on our own… What is the biggest thing that we can acquire? God. We are joined with Christ. There is a consideration that perhaps when (not as =:) ) we reach infinity, we no longer seek our value, but God’s.

(11/8/09) of pleasures
Recently building theory: the pleasure of knowing God must be greater than anything we have on earth. , primarily, is a representation of the relationship between Christ and the church, using fallible man and woman. In heaven, we shall have infallible Christ and sanctified church, so it will be infinitely more pleasurable. Video games are a slightly different example. It comes from you using your knowledge and reactions and ‘power’ to defeat an enemy. The truth is, you and the enemy are both quantifiable and therefore puny. There can always be a bigger fish. One doesn’t have to think of God as somehow a ‘higher’ pleasure than video games (even though he is, like in the previous example), just think that God could make a video game, but a far better one, one far greater than you can possibly imagine, or even come to grips with if you experienced it.
These principles can be applied to all pleasures, showing that everything on earth is very temporary, and heaven is sure going to be worth holding off our passions for a little while (besides the fact of our pleasure right now knowing Jesus)

(10/11/09) new evangelism short
During Awaken09 camp. All things in the universe point to God. He is the most important fact in the universe. It is like all matter points in rays towards him. This is slightly complicated because this pointing I have only supported by saying that all matter will pass away, which might make it irrelevant, even to point. A result of this visual aid is the Narnia Last Battle concept of things on the inside being bigger than the outside. As you get closer and closer to the absolute, ultimate, single truth, its meaning gets bigger and bigger. Just conceived now: this may be because it encompasses more and more. This is much like our “Omni emo data”, where the sum of all things approaches God, but this seems to belittle God and limit him to the existing (spiritual and material) world, not to the real of what could be.

(10/11/09) problem of sinners activity + Gods justice
From Awaken09 camp.
Problem: how do sinners actually attack God (pen), and God have wrath against them? And then how do we fit ‘all have sinned’ in here?
Nowlin theory: Sinner is horribly deceived person such that they believe that they are being neutral, but are actually attacking the very real, living evidence of God. The Nowlin as a whole uses practicality along with huge emphases. [singular: emphasis]. This uses deception to make rejecting God an attack (an unintended attack) while relating to reality. This one also accommodates the gospel better, so that all men begin deceived and unable to help themselves.
“Test good evil” theory: All men must have an absolute or else they become animals/machines. This stronger idea of the forced absolute makes the choosing of something over God more of an attack. Along with this the theory can use a heightened perfection of God that cannot exist next to sin, which fuels wrath, where wrath can be separation rather than attack. Affliction is then more of drawing back gifts (like life and protection). The problem is that we see absolutes as approximating truth, and possibly getting very close, where we hold as a premise guide that all men are equal and none can get to God on their own.
Also from this camp: (mind goal)-focus with knowledge is powerful

(9/8/09) good and evil
God populated the earth with independent humans who had free will. Some choose the correct things, some choose badly. The good things are that which take into account the greatest truth/correctness, that God is the biggest thing, and so also good things bring God glory, and God set good things down as law. Evil is the logical counterpart to good.
Now, good and evil are not huge objects, they are descriptions, adjectives, and are defined by God, not with him, so God is not subject to logical issues dealing with good and evil (which, interestingly, solves many issues of good and evil).
Because humans err, they violate Gods law and God can destroy us. [in justice theory, no unnecessary harm can be done to a faultless servant, but a disobedient one can be destroyed]. However, God abstains from that until the end of time, and gives us a chance to accept Jesus’ offer to take our blame and add it to what he paid on the cross [the mathematical gospel]. In the end he will destroy all still guilty humans (and s plus ).

(9/8/09) syllogism arsenal
It must now be recorded, in case other things are lost, my current syllogisms for good and evil. Even before that, I must say that my goal in life is to glorify God. Everything else revolves around that. There isn’t a huge system of good syllogisms that I must keep remembering, just that goal. Other issues, like good and evil, should be dealt with as they come. (though perhaps kept in more of an arsenal to use in debate).

(6/31/09) our place
We exist in a special size level of the universe. The macro stuff is arranged in particles, and down from the atom they are arranged in particles. Here, it is different. Also, given absolute acceleration, I do not think it possible for another world to exist (unless, I suppose, the bigger worlds ran much slower and looser, and the tiny ones much tighter and quicker…maybe)

(6/30/09) evangelism
Using reverse psychology (seeing situation from other persons view) it would not actually be ludicrous to say, “Hey, I realized yesterday I really need to tell you this, God is absolutely massive. I don’t know what your current view of God is but this will blow your mind.” And if they think you’re whacko, you explain that “God is the most important thing in the universe, don’t you want to know him better? Everything else, our money, physique, knowledge, will all pass away, we will all die, and the world might explode any minute, but God is the only thing that won’t change. That’s how he is the most important thing in the totality of the universe.”

(6/19/09) Mormons
Quote from book of Mormon says you will become a God if you are good enough, and will have a little world to rule over. They deny the trinity of God.

(6/16/09) human ability to sin
God made us with an ability, perhaps even a tendency to sin, not only to strate his faithfulness and forgiveness, but to prove that he is so awesome, he can steamroll sinful tendencies in people if they come to him, realizing more and more his great glory. [While reading ch10 of Know Why You Believe] Evil, by the way, is merely the absence of god. There is no author of evil, just like there is no author of darkness, because it is merely the absence of light. The problem with that theory is that the world would be naturally permeated by God, so there would be no absence.
I have this feeling that God was bored, so he wrote a book with angels, s, humans, and epic spiritual warfare, where God is the only variable that counts in any equation.
We had developed this before, but we now state formally, that God causes his various purposes largely by delaying judgment, and not delaying. This is evident for all Old Testament nations.

(6/12/09) church notes
Get better emo theory of performing righteous acts due to overflow. End of time we see Christ and sanctification becomes complete. Also we don’t need to hope, because all we have hoped for comes true. A glorious human is not cool. It is humble, etc. Awww…

(5/22/09) another singularity of Christianity
“Know Why You Believe.” Pg 135:p4: “As C.S. Lewis wrote, “All the essentials of Hinduism would, I think, remain unimpaired if you subtracted the miraculous, and the same is almost true of Islam, but you cannot do that with Christianity. It is precisely the story of a great miracle. A naturalistic Christianity leaves out all that is specifically Christian.

Sets of Two
(5/17/09) two types communion, etc.
There are two forms of miracle salvation, two basic needs of man, and two parts of communion. The first of each are: justification, salvation/guilt, and body respectively. The second of each are: election/adoption/not our doing, sanctification, and respectively.

(4/19/09) Old testament
I like the old testament testimony of Gods faithfulness to his people. It says if we follow him, he will never leave us. However, I must remind myself that I alone cannot follow him. I need JC to do that. Plus, even when I fail, God will never leave me.

Compile temp folder (4/17/09)
For gospelizing: emphasize all are equal, attack sin with love, gosplize for good of others, for good of kingdom, begin spiel with ‘I desire your good, I’m trying to help, to give you something awesome’, giving glory to god is revealing his character, JC is word/will of god/message/executor of gospel.
Because our wicked nature suppresses the truth (Rom 1:18) Christianity needs self-pro da to survive.
If you delight yourself in the lord, he will give you the desires of your heart.
Sermon (4/5/09) Nicodemus isn’t born again and can’t understand the new birth. (another obstacle the new birth other than ness). “You can’t understand heaven, I have it for you. You can’t get it, my heaven will now die for you.” Bronze snake: deflect wrath, saves on poisoned people, reverses wrath, you only have to look at it. (Isaiah 45:20) God punished the snake sinner Jesus.
Sermon: if you cry to God, you realize that he can solve it, that he has control. EMO grey clothing, legs spread slightly, bowed head, relaxed, tired face upwards w/hands. If shoulders back, strain is also on quads in a sliding compression and knee buckle. God matter is infinitely dense E = ∞c2. What you fear controls you. (You fear God?) Remember to wait for God (Rome: Total War Calvary stupid) 2 types of testimonies 1) I called he answered, 2) I called he will answer.

Original Sin (4/14/09)
After the fall, an unknown spiritual variable was changed such that our spirits have a propensity to sin. Suppose that we were killed the instant we were born, we would be faultless. Corollaries abound, like sin is caused by mismanagement of what we are give, our body in and of itself is not sin-inducing even though it is not perfect, most aborted babies will go to heaven, it is humanly possible to not sin for a considerable length of time, it just becomes exponentially hard after a + weeks of living out of the womb, etc.
Original sin is combated by the example of the birth of Jesus while he is fully man. Adam was fully man and did not have a resurrected body.

JC exp (4/9/09)
JC was 0, took all our sins to -¥, and was punished as a sinner completely, with no God consideration part of it. Then after spending an eternity in hell (3 days) he came back. (because hell exists outside of time).
The only problem is that JC is supposed to be fully God too, and that isn’t playing a part in his really.

(3/6/09) Military allegory/analogy
People: Christian = friendly solider, non-Christian = enemy, pastors = drill sergeant, gregarious mission teams = panzers (anti-tank), long term mission teams = heavy tanks, tract distributing mission teams = rocket tanks, help workers = support vehicles, business Christians = aircraft, short term mission teams = light tanks
Weapons: Bible = submachine w/unlimited , bible books = rounds of , verses = individual for submachine , temporary bible, knowledge = bayonet, spoken apologetics = knife, rehab centers (teen challenge) = anti-tank
Food, Damage, Function: bible = food ration, bible books = bread loaf, verses = bread slice, HS in spirit = vitamin pills, JC presence = bread ration, temptation = enemy , regular sin = wounds, habitual sin = mortal wounds, JC grace = super medic, HS in brain = walkie-talkies, church = boot camp, converted person = one less enemy and one more friend,
Warfare: street evangelizing = hand to hand combat, underground (like China) = guerilla warfare, apologetics = artillery, converting officials etc. = sabotage, intercession networks = trenches/defense
Artillery: written apologetics local = light artillery, handing out tracts = low precision stabs, placing tracts = low precision mines, airdropping tracts = low precision , written apologetics large = high coverage cruise missiles, cosmological arguments = scatter , hard testimony publicized = flood ICBM, media censoring = anti-aircraft,
Extra facts and what the analogy implies: JC looks to your best interest, which is his best interest because we are his body. You may die, but if you do it is for the good of Christendom. You must follow orders regardless. All you are commanded to do is perfectly thought out. You always have your walkie-talkie on. The goal in life is to win more converts.
Alternate for medieval times: JC = general, HS = generals horse, personal aid = general rides along with his men,
(see 5/17/09 about an alteration to the analogy)

(3/1/09) God emo/data again
Much data and data of large degree approaches emotion. God possesses all (an infinite) dimensions of positive attributes in infinite degree. Therefore God is absolute emotion.
God upholds the world constantly and by no other mechanism except pure existence. God, is a loose sense, is matter. It reflects him. So data in degree and plurality, and hence emotion, approaches God. If the world is infinite, its sum of data is infinite emotion. This may or may not approach God, since one could argue that the infinite data of the world is only one variable, it is only infinity, not infinity squared, which is God.

(2/2/09) Time argument for existence of God
Time would normally extend indefinitely into the past. But indefinitely is infinitely, and infinity is not a number, so it can’t. Same with the future. Somewhere between now and time infinity, something random in the world would cause time to stop. So, time has to begin and end somewhere. And along with it, matter and space, since the three are interdependent according the Einstein’s theory of relativity. This begins to sound like creation. At some point a long time ago, space, matter, and time began. So, at the beginning, they could have been in any form we desire, like in Genesis. Anyway, something has to make it begin, something out of time and capable of just spawning matter into existence. And that, of course, is God.

(1/4/09) God lifting rocks
So, can God make a rock he cannot lift? The answer is, no such rock exists. God can make a rock of size x and lift that rock of size x. Therefore he must make a rock of size infinity, but infinity is not a number, so the rock would not exist, and he cannot make it. It’s just a property of numbers, a property God designed, just like God can’t make himself hopelessly despotic. “Don’t you think I would follow my own rules?” (From The Voyage of the Dawn Treader)

(12/31/08) Recalled theory of Man/Woman
Men are detailed and highly maneuverable in the example of maps where men have detailed map and women would have list of variables. Women, like computers, could then handle many things at once, and men, like engineers, could handle single complex ideas well. In combat one has only one goal. In organization of civilization one has many. (Like the word play?). The man is the head because he has one goal, preserving the body. That last statement is a little weak though, for the body could merely follow orders, more easy for men, and the good of the body is a pretty complex subject unless it comes to protection only. Anyway, it’s just a recalled theory.

(12/31/08) Abstract Theory emo approaches God
Emotions are the only evidence within oneself that there exists the . But, if emotions are only complex organizations of data, there is no evidence. But if God is all data (see particle theory for existence of God), then the more data, more complete picture of God, then emotions approach God. Got that?

Intro/Extroverts (10/13/08)
Introverts seek God through his creation, nature. Extroverts through his image, man. The former requires knowledge of nature, induces science and philosophy, and generally means either long syllogisms or poetic speculation. The latter requires knowledge of sociological patterns, repartee, etc., induces relationships (the method by which we get to know others) and work operations (though this is not really a very strong effect or cause), and generally means either complex and rapid social networks or die-hard teamwork (not to be confused with the die-hard strategies of the great minds).

(10/2/08) Omni proofs
God created all from nothing so he must’ve created from himself. Therefore all material and laws etc. everything is his, under his control, and him itself [9/8/09, sustains all things]. Since matter is everywhere, he is everywhere. Since he is everywhere and is everything that can happen, he knows everything. And since he is everything, he controls everything. You must understand everything includes the apple that falls from the tree, the universal law of gravitation, the manner in which an apple fall from a tree, the apple’s falling from the tree, the energy converted while falling, everything.

Mech or Emo to God.
Currently the way in which I relate to god is an army, legs spread, very intense salute, it’s based off of justice theory and my being his creation. But since God is more than just God, I think a more lovey-dovey idea would be better; giving and obeying God because I’m thankful. (8/27/08 after Wed night connection.)

(6/22/08) Emotion theory and Christendom
The current emotional theory (it trumps empirical), applies to the gospel. It allows people to be emotionally stable (or at least independent) during (of) all quantitative surroundings., after watching the play High School Musical (and the effects of its closing and short contact with Josie))

(6/18/08)Gods love for us.
The definition of love is putting the others needs before your own. If God holds this love for us, that is mind-blowing. That the most powerful force in the universe should put us before him, it seems unbelievable (seriously). Using the potential tidbit (see definition of love under PQ) it seems incorrect that we have a greater potential that God, in fact, it is incorrect.

(6/18/08) Difference between puppy and real love.
Puppy-dog love is the idolization of the other, believing the other is greater than all else (tangent: entertainment effect). This love is reserved for God (though I’m not sure our relationship with God should include the stuttering and hesitation normally present in puppy-dog love, though it might be offset by other effects of Gods personality) A good, healthy type of love should recognize the worth in the other that is present in all others (being creations of God) and should act on that by provision, care and sacrifice. The putting of their needs before your own (see definition of love under pithy quotes) is voluntary (see utopia theory), though that somewhat defeats the definition of love.

(6/7/08) Comment on The Bible Jesus Read: PG 133-134:
The author doesn’t recognize solution one as a solution and does not take it in the sense that it would work given a condition. The object is to contest the condition and not the solution as a thesis. Check the book for the actual problem since I can’t remember what exactly it was right now.

(6/12/08) The secular justice gospel:
God owns all the land and property, therefore he dictates the law on it and we are trespassers (non-owners) of it. This law is shown in the bible (and he therefore is complying with protocol). All violation of it is punishable by . But, God is nice and just marks it off in his accounting books, hurting himself (Jesus). When we commit a sin, we just have to ask him to put it in the Jesus category and Jesus vouches for us to God.

(5/22/08) Consciousness of God
It may be possible to say god has infinite levels of consciousness (ref. Bartimaeus Trilogy) and thus can deal with us each individually. It is how he can bypass time and figure something out in no time, why he has already found everything out, why he knew from the begging, why he is perfect. This doesn’t sound entirely correct but it’s a thought. after reading ch 37-39 in Christy)

(2/6/08) Religious proof of non-interventionalism:
In the case of say, WWII, our involvement should only occur when attacked (Pearl Harbor) This would also apply to the auxiliary wars. (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, etc.) It was presented in Ch 27 of The History of the US “Do you agree that “He who permits evil, commits evil?”” The answer is no. God permits evil or else there would be no evil (since he can prevent all of it). Therefore, we should permit evil (war between Russia and Germany etc.) and not commit evil (provoke Pearl Harbor, Lend-Lease policy to help Britain, etc.). This also applies to laissez-faire economics and minority issues. (After reading said chapter,

Though God is indescribable, here is a tribute to his greatness.
He rules the races of men and angels. Without him the mechanics of all the sciences would not be. Matter itself would vaporize in his absence. All the subtle deviations of the psyche are as simple as instinct to him. The infinite levels of the properties of nano-particles of matter would not exist. At his gaze the atmosphere vaporizes and explodes, the oceans burn as Hades, and the mountains melt like wax. Supernova SN2006GY would freeze in the thermonuclear stage. The diameter of the universe divided by his magnitude is not delta x, but zero. The nations are his inheritance. The will of man does his bidding. He molds the matter of the universe and it becomes living. He can defy gravity and speed. He exists out of time and space. Matter would no longer accelerate at 6.77e11 m*m/d2. valley would burst aflame and Chernobyl would have created cold fusion in the midst of its meltdown. Super fluids would become solid, plasma like ice. All of Zeno’s paradoxes would become true. Time would fluctuate randomly. Nay, time would not exist. The universe would be reduced to a void, nay, not even a void. All the forests of the world would spontaneously combust. The animals would rise and talk as men and many other strange things would happen.
But all of this does not begin to describe the Unknown God.

Time of entrance into heaven
Man must wait after in the “sleep” before going to heaven. It will seem like no time since you are unconscious – , but when you wake up it will be when “the in Christ will rise first”. Besides, from a time space perspective, if Heaven being eternal exists out of time and you enter heaven right after you die, when does the next guy come in? Either we all appear to come in at once, which wouldn’t really change the effect, or everyone comes in the instant after the one before, which is just to vague to be real, or we have to wait whatever time it takes for the next guy, which means time in heaven would be measurable, generally disbelieved.

JC separated from God
JC suffered infinitely, something we never experience. It wasn’t just the pain of the cross but the far greater emotional pain of actual separation from God. For once God did not delay his justice and poured complete wrath on him and separated JC from himself – hell. This is kind of weird to envision, JC, God, separated from God, but you know, he’s God, right? He can do anything!

Utilitarian Apologetics:
God created everything perfect and what he creates affects his reputation (which is why what he created was perfect). Sinning is deviation from what is most expedient/useful/good etc., essentially what is empirically measured as greatest. Therefore, sinning makes the world imperfect and detract from God’s reputation and hence his name.

Proof of God Scientifically
So, the continuous theory of matter is wrong, since there’s atoms. But after atoms there are electrons, after them glutons, after them quarks, and on and on and on. Eventually, you say, we’ll find the limit, but when we do, we still won’t know why those particles act the way they do, it will still depend on God! And if you say there’s no end, then it is infinite, and one knows nothing infinite can exist in nature aside from the .

(?/?/?) The mathematical gospel:
(9/8/09) temper this. Its just compiling payment. Jesus does not become 0.
God is infinitely positive. [∞] We are not. [Lim(ⁿ) ≠ ∞] Our presence is a blemish to his perfection and therefore must be destroyed. Our inferiority is infinite [Lim(ⁿ) – ∞ = -∞] and deserves and infinite punishment. But, God created Jesus, who was both infinite and not infinite. [∞ = JC ≠ ∞] His infinite part suffered infinite punishment [∞ – ∞ = 0] since his man part would’ve deserved it Jesus would still be stuck in hell. [Lim(ⁿ) – ∞ = -∞] Since all our punishments together are only infinite [(ⁿ)-∞ = -∞] that punishment can serve for all of us [∞ – ∞ + (ⁿ)-∞ = 0] So, if we accept his punishment as ours [(Self)-∞] it can just add into that equation [∞ – ∞ + (ⁿ)-∞ + (ⁿ+1)-∞ + (ⁿ+2)-∞… + (Self)-∞  = 0] and it still works. The only thing you have to do is add yourself into the equation by believing that Jesus is God (which is what paid the price.)
In a less mathematical way
God is infinite and we aren’t. Since we aren’t, we are a blemish to the universe and would detract from his glory, which is the whole point. Since he’s omnipresent, we can’t simply flee. Our punishment is separation from God outside of the universe – hell. Our punishment is infinite. God saved us by making his son fully God and fully man. When he died, he didn’t deserve it due to his God part. But, since all sin was paid, Jesus didn’t have to stay in hell and rose again. He paid an infinite price that serves for all of us since no matter how much negative infinity we add on to Jesus punishment, it still is paid by the infinite price. So, all we must do is add our negative infinity to Jesus.

All Christians are socialists. A proof.
So, definition of Christian is loves god, right? Loving is putting the other before yourself in everyday thought such that all your action are designed to help that other rather than yourself (though not in an inefficiently sacrificial manner.) What is good for god? His glory.
How might an atheist see this? Everyone is devoted to advancing a somewhat ethereal concept called “the glory of God.” What does that sound like? Socialism! Everyone is devoted to an ethereal concept called “the general good” or “the general will.” Hence, you see, all Christians are socialists. An all-Christian society would be a socialist utopia.

(4/29/08) New view of Suffering after reading pgs 58-72 in The Bible Jesus Read)
Suffering is extremely mundane, a matter of course. It exists to strate our sole dependence on god and not on earthly things. It puts things back into perspective and strengthens our faith. If you are a Christian you have more reason to expect suffering than an unbeliever. View it as a drill, a health check up, a minor exam. If you have god you have nothing to worry about. God is so in control, the material changes are of absolutely no consequence since they can change in an instant. If you die, it is gain.
We do say also, that god does not cause suffering; he just lets enact it.

(4/18/08), Turn the other cheek.
Problem today arose in discussion of Gage, a karate associate of Stephens that hits too hard while sparring. Has been told to stop but ignores protests, the Gibson’s do nothing directly to stop him. Dad advocates hitting back with equal intensity as one is hit, to strate the pain Gage is inflicting. Stephen advocates telling him he is going to strate and then doing so. (Which father later acquiesced to) These theories base off of the criminal rational theory. I think it goes against basic Sunday-school teaching “turn the other cheek” but I was not brave enough to voice it in opposition to father, who I believe is sometimes too protective of us and not very sacrificial.

Several contradictions exist in the current world.
1.                  Would not animal rights activists be pitted against evolutionists, since the former wishes to preserve animals and the other celebrates their extinction?
2.                  Would not evolution and atheism be pitted against capitalism, since the former assumes we are merely one variation of millions, created by one chance out of the inconceivable, while the other seeks to promote individualism and self worth?
3.                  Would not law be pitted against the m of political realism, since the former wants us to keep faith and the other only when we wish to do so?
Would not the evolution be pitted against the tolerance and protection of minorities, since the former idealizes survival of the fittest, and the other the preservation of the downtrodden?

Analogy: God = air. Life = 4mn.
If you don’t breathe in 4mn you die. If you have breathed at any point during 4mn you will survive past that point. Once you know how to breathe it’s hard to resist. It takes work. Air is everywhere and can do many things but you can’t see it. Once you see everyone who hasn’t breathed at 4mn die, you’ll never hold your breath again. Worshiping him is exercise; the more you do it the bigger your lung capacity. Though your capacity wanes with time if you don’t work it.
The only problem is that is called the ‘king of the air’ or ‘the prince of the power of the air’.

Why a selfish person should become a Christian.
The ultimate logical purpose of all people should to be happy for as long as possible. We gradually shift from crying and stamping feet to elicit contentedness to working long and hard to ensure a happy family life and retirement. What most people overlook is that the longest period of time we shall spend is probably after . All religions except Atheism, Nihilism, and Buddhism believe life after is in an unending, static state. Featured by one very strong emotion of either pain or joy. (The Greeks did have a middle destination of endless listlessness beside the pool of forgetfulness) So it seems to me that we should first secure our position in the afterlife at all costs in this, as that of the afterlife is unchangeable and everlasting. As for the other religions, they send you into nothingness eventually, no matter what you do. This would encourage all adherents to do whatever should bring them happiness. It would not mean barbarity and brash depravity, for, if they are intelligent, they will plan for the future. But it means no one cares for the needs of others and will backstab anyone if they will get away with it and benefit from it. This would up heave the world (I would say it already has) into a mess. The religions that believe in something usually have a moral code, which would at least assist law and order in the modern world.

Elimination of Religions
For practical persons the search of faith constitutes mainly a search for truth. The idea that religion at least provides truth immediately rules out Unitarianism, since truth is described as the one correct and relevant explanation among the many untrue others, indication a single set of answers to life’s questions.
We also search for meaning and order. In this way, atheism, nihilism and others are eliminated, since, if the world came about by chance, we have no purpose and might as well die or enjoy ourselves while we can. The latter destroys order as everyone’s actions will be based off of the self and not relevant to any set order or other people. The former would kill off its followers and therefore, according to their belief of natural selection/survival of the fittest, would prove it erroneous.
We seek infinity, absolutes, and the utmost. The human-gods of Greece and almost the entire ancient world fail in this respect. None are omnipotent: defeated by alliances of other gods, or omniscient: outwitted by mere men, or omnipresent: Zeus needs Hermes to relay messages.
We seek control. Any destiny of ours that is controlled by us lacks all former points, as humans are not always truthful or ordered and are never infinite. So all religions that depend on the self - nearly all - fail. Atheism: mans use of science, Buddhism: mans intuition, psyche, and self-control, Islam: mans obedience, and slaughter of infidels to provide salvation.
We seek satisfaction as the final goal and all former ideas as a means to that end. God alone (Yahweh) is the symbol of truth and cannot lie, has created order in all things, is the omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, infinite God. And the best of it is – we don’t have to do anything to receive his rewards, know him personally, and be saved.

“Nature of Man”
God created man, no creation is complete without its maker, man has a god shaped hole in his heart, absence of god needs to be filled, man tries to fill with self (see atheism), man seeks to be god, god is defined by absolute sovereignty, man seeks sovereignty/control/power, (this is basic greed) man seeks to have power by being better than his neighbor, better can be defined by wealth (this drives capitalism and most torts). If, however, man has god, he does not seek to be better; he does no crime of greed (or tries not to)
Socialism would work in this latter state as no one would seek to be better than his neighbor, would not fear loss, and so wouldn’t slack off or take more than his share (odd how contentment would drive to work)

Narcissists believe that unless something can be proven, it is false. Their reasoning cannot be proven and is therefore false.

Atheism self-destruct.
Atheism is self destructive if properly taught, for if they have no meaning, then there is no reason for them to exist and after all atheists have ceased to exist, then there will only be Christians left to teach.

Problems:

(4/28/08) Free will vs. Gods omniscience and  partially solved
(after reading a chapter in John Pipers little red book entitled “Why is it all about God?”) Has never been directly answered by father or anyone (or myself)
If we have free will then how can god fore ordain all acts such as the Israeli desire for a king? If we do not have free will then why did god not just come down in all his glory and convince us all straightaway? He may purposely keep some away to glorify him by contrast (which, though cruel, I can deal with) but by reason of economy, why is it hard to be saved? (Mentally, that is) My only thought is that we have no free will and all events glorify god in some way currently unseen to me.
Conflict not solved: gods absolute sovereignty and our sinful nature, in other words he makes us, lets us, or means us to do sin - how?
(1/11/10) partial solution
We basically don’t have free will. We don’t save ourselves, our actions can be deterministically predicted (maybe) etc. We are like machines that God made (or we might have free wills that aren’t forced, but god knows what they’ll be). Erroneous machines are to be destroyed, very simply, and were created to highlight correctness. It’s a good thing we don’t know who’s who.
(3/14/10) more on the subject
Use Romans 9 for guidance. We are free will entities but God can control what we want, and therefore what we freely do.

Bible Text Problem: John 15:22
“If I had not came and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now however, they have no excuse for their sin.”
It runs against my current theology, but I am doing school and am pressed for time and so will not mull over his long. Goodbye.

What do you count on to be acceptable to God?

Bible Text Problem: Matt 6: 15
“But if you do not forgive men their sins, you Father will not forgive your sins.”
The problem is obvious. How does a sin of yours (not forgiving) prevent your salvation?

(1/15/09) Bible Text Problem: Romans 4:5 vs. James 2:14, 24 solved
5However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.”
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no works? Can such faith save him?” “24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.”
The clashes are clear. First, ‘does not work’ is odd, ‘justifies the wicked’ makes pretty good sense but is worded a little drastically and could be used in other ways, ‘justified by what he does’ is very Catholic and very hard to ignore. It can all be explained, but it’s still not very clear and I would like killer syllogisms to help this problem along.
(6/30/09) solution
To 14, it is the type of faith that fails the person. In 24, it is preceded by “23Thus the scripture was fulfilled that says ‘Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness,’ and he was called ‘the friend of God.’” This indicates that belief gives righteousness. Believing something does nothing, but what the believing does is give you righteousness and ‘works’ which saves you. You have faith in JC, and he gives you works, and that saves you.

(2/15/09) Clear solution to baptism. solved
Galatians3:2b “Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?” The argument for baptism is that it gives HS, but here we see only faith does that. Baptism is still good, but not necessary.

(4/8/09) women submission partway solved
1 Corinthians 14: 34-35 – “Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.” This seems overkill of the submission of women.
Context:           Also reprimanding for many people speaking in tongues at once.
Culture:            The women, being new to the outside, may have been gossiping.
May have been a smaller congregation setting.

(4/5/09) Power god
Why do you want a power God? Ex. I am archive. W/ ET ect.

(5/17/09) JC use HS solved
Did JC use HS for miracles, or his own diving nature?
(6/30/09) we think he used HS. Think of def. of HS as power from God to JC.

(6/1/09) heaven and hell
Create proof of existence of h and h via god ultimate justice.

(12/3/09) problem of evil solved
God make world with error. Evil is just absence. God is just poking world. But how God make w/his absence? Barak: who are you to ask whether God is good? Rom 9:18-21.
If humans = prime, then evil = problem. If God = prime, then evil = no problem.

(1/9/09) JC divine
Why must JC be divine? So he doesn’t sin? But human totally inhabited by HS can do that, right? JC = human + God. Human shell inhabit by HS. So when in heaven we = JC? Empty self and fill with HS, die to self etc.
(1/15/10) Col 2:9-10 “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.” No proofs, just stuff to think about.

(1/9/09) unreached people
How do unreached people get saved? “We have no excuse” Do they just believe in an all-powerful God? By extension they admit that they aren’t perfect. How do they figure out that God can’t tolerate imperfection? Intuition? Conscience? new birth?

(2/22/10) lie to save jew?
Against: God will provide, ten boom story, For: superiority of Gods law (and rest of ten boom story)

(3/14/10) big questions
Why did God create us? To glorify him. Why does God want/need us to glorify him? Isn’t he glorious enough alone?
In what sense does God love us if he isn’t connected to us and doesn’t need us?
Why is God largely invisible?
Why does God have people who are unsaved? To glorify. Who are you to question God?
If God does not need our physical help, why are we supposed to evangelize?
What sets Christianity apart from other religions? Where is the obvious proof of Christianity?

(3/19/10) reaction to sea scrolls solved
Exhibit at science museum shows how Jewish ure seems to flow smoothly into the arrival of Jesus, expecting a shepherd (showing a pre-picture which we assume is Jewish and pre-Christ), and one who raises people from the . I counter that Christianity is the only major one where God comes to earth in any form, and the only one that is characterized by many miracles. For this to have been invented, people would have to accept that Jesus was God right off the bat without evidence. For superstition to build up after Jesus died, there would have to be a remnant ure of followers (of a mere human who died?) who were either loopy enough to die for something piddly, or didn’t get persecuted.
