this is a list of small word pictures I have created or I found in the bible
he touches the mountains and they smoke
ignites the atmosphere (it explodes)
the surface of the earth soil bubbles
every blade of grass and living thing swells at his presence
the mountains melt like wax
the voice of the lord twists the oaks and strips the forest bare
he thunders over the mighty waters
he shakes the desert of Kadesh
the lord is a strong tower, a might fortress
he sits enthroned over time and space
he possesses the heart of man
the lord god of hosts
the sea boils
emperor of the stars
he who paints the mountains with trees
he sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers
"where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?"
"have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, that it might take the earth by the edges, and shake the wicked out of it?"
"can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook, or tie down his tongue with a rope?"

also before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal
ok, now get this. this God dropped down to earth to say hello...and then he died for us.
